Hemet police have launched a manhunt for three people ( Jose Campo, Felicia Sharp, 17, Rene Lopez-Fregozo) police say are connected to a fatal shooting of a Hemet teenager whose body was disposed of in a backyard bonfire. Hemet police arrested Campos' mother, Maria Seym, 45, and his stepfather, Jose Seym, 29, on suspicion of accessory to murder. Police said the couple had knowledge of the killing but were not home when the shooting occurred.

What I Think: Terrible! It's not that hard to believe though. Hemet has a reputation of sprouting scumbags. I hope they catch those punks. By the way, I saw a picture of the mom on the news last night and her 29-year-old husband. I have to say that they both look--well, um, not what I expected a middle age cougar & her young buck would look like. I guess Riverside county cougars are nothing like the OC cougars. I don’t understand how a young man like him (although he‘s not a great catch) can possibly get involved with a woman who looks like she’s in her 50’s! Before I saw her picture on TV, I imagined her to look like a cougar, slim & perky but I guess not. Well I guess he was desperate LOL.

enough of the racist crap. this is a cultural issue, not a racist issue. had the pictures been of some toofless dude in a wife beater with a mullet under a nascar cap, plenty of us, white and brown, would have said "well just look at the hillbilly. prolly killed his dad over their sister. what did you expect?"

the fact remains that the playa's look the parts of the criminal thugs. and they looked that way on purpose. if they are not criminal thugs, then it's their own fault they are being stereotyped; they assumed the stereotype themselves by dressing and posing like trash.

Cigar smoking is increasing in the United States, mainly in young and middle-aged men, but also among teenagers and women. In some circles, it has even achieved a certain social status. It may be people think that cigar smoking is a safer alternative to cigarettes. This is not the case - the practice is known to be a risk factor for cancer of the mouth, throat, larynx, gullet (esophagus) and lung, and also and for a troublesome breathing condition - chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).

My opinion: Actually cigar smoking has increased more so because of the economy. I don’t see how but it’s true. Back in 2008 when I worked for Liberty tax service, I was a sign twirler for them. One morning when I was standing by the medical building, I spotted two middle age men smoking cigars close to where I was standing. I have chronic bronchitis so therefore I try to avoid being close to anyone who might be smoking. For a couple of days they stood close to where I was smoking their crappy cigars! Then I decided to tell them something. I made it clear to them that cigar smoke bothers me. However, I should have explained further, because they were irritated at me and said, “You shouldn’t be standing here anyways. Go somewhere else!” I was really pissed off that day. They apparently didn’t care who they were hurting. “What assholes!” I thought. Well I brought it to the attention of my supervisor but another woman who knows those morons, overheard me talking to the supervisor while she was visiting Liberty Tax. She said, “Oh I love the smell of cigars.” She started a conversation about the smell of cigars and how the smell reminds her of her father or grandfather's cigars. She turned the attention away from what I was trying to say and made light of what I was complaining about! “What a (Bleep)!” I thought to myself as I stood there. Well, I had to sign twirl elsewhere do the street for the rest of the time I worked there. They did NOT respect my wishes. This is what I said: “Can you smoke elsewhere I have chronic Bronchitis and the smoke bothers me. They could have stood somewhere else but chose to be assholes. Well that was then and my point is that people like that don’t care how their smoking is hurting them and others around them!
